New design tapered adapter mount spherical roller bearing units provide versatile arrangements for supporting shafts that carry substantial radial or a combination of radial and thrust loads
Incorporates an integral lock nut, sleeve and inner race along with Optical Strain Sensing (OSS) technology and a Positive Locking System (PLS) that visually indicates when the bearing is tightened to the shaft correctly
These features not only yield the most secure shaft mounting, running accuracy and ability to accommodate undersize shafting, but guarantee the correct installation every time and make removal a snap
Offers higher dynamic load ratings than the previous design, runs cooler and runs quieter yielding a bearing that lasts longer in the application
Dynamic and static misalignment capability has been increased to ±2.0°
